The valve you linked to is a DC latching solenoid valve, which does not work with the standard OpenSprinkler. The only product we have that works with latching solenoid is the OpenSprinkler Bee Sheild for Arduino, but it’s not a standalone product:

Latching valves are common in battery powered controllers. However, my understanding is that 24VAC valves are more common in sprinkler systems. Unless if you already own latching valves, you should as well get 24VAC valves, which are about the same price:
