Do you happen to have an AVR ISP programmer (like USBasp, USBtiny, or any other type of ISP programmer)? If so, you can directly upload firmware through the 2×3 ISP pin headers, and bypass the bootloader. If not, you will probably have to ship it back to us so we can check it for you.
