We actually don’t have the combined hex. I’ve attached the bootloader and the scripts to upload the bootloader. This is just the ATmega1284 bootloader downloaded directly from optiboot website. The firmware is flashed through the USB port using the firmware updater program. The two steps are done separately for every board to verify that the USB-serial chip is working and the bootloader is working.
