If you use a weather algorithm (either Zimmerman or Auto Rain Delay), which uses online weather data, perhaps you can remove the rain sensor. Alternatively, you can connect the rain sensor (assume it’s normally closed) in line with the COM (common) wire, which serves to cut off sprinkler when rain sensor is activated.
