I have a section of my garden that does not get rain. When I set the rain delay or rain is sensed, my OpenSprinkler stops watering, as expected. To prevent these plants from dying, I must turn off rain delay and rain sensor and do a run once for this station. Does any version of OpenSprinkler have a rain delay and rain sensor exception? I would expect this to be a program option.
I have OpenSprinkler v1.42u
This is a standard feature in current OpenSprinkler firmware, that is, you can configure for each zone individually whether it’s affected by the rain sensor or not. You have the first-generation OpenSprinkler (1.42u), unfortunately its firmware (version 1.8.3) does not contain this feature.
