So I was browsing around the code and the forum to see how easy it might be to point to a personal weather station, and I noticed that getweather.py is still using the iGoogle Weather API, at least according to the source on github.
That API has been decommissioned for a while, so I’m curious if this is still actually what is being used, or if the updated script just hasn’t been pushed to the repo.
Is this even what is used in the actual firmware? Or is this only used by the web UI?
The getweather.py script in GitHub is outdated. There has been some recent work contributed by Andrew that uses Yahoo Weather API. Check this thread for details:
