    Hi All.

I am just starting to dig into OpenSprinkler, and don;t know whether it is better to go with OpenSprinklerPi or OpenSprinkler – I have both a Pi as well as a UNO. Suggestions are gratefully welcome!

The attached pic is my attempt at laying out how I think I would like my garden watering system to work. Hopefully it is sufficiently self-explanatory… Again, your guidance is gratefully welcome.

    My questions are:
    – will I be able to control 3 valves + moisture sensor + pump? In addition, will I need an extra valve to control water flow from the water outlet into the tank, or should the pump be sufficient? Will the 20-gallon tank placed about 4 feet off the ground provide enough pressure to water the beds?

    Gratefully awaiting responses! Thanks.

Both OpenSprinkler and OSPi support 8 stations, among which one can be assigned as a pump / master station. Moisture sensor is not supported by default but you can modify the software to add support. Both OpenSprinker and OSPi have analog input pins.

For comparisons between OpenSprinkler and OSPi please check the information here:
