I’m sure this has come up before but I’m having difficulty doing a good search across the forum categories.
Anyway – FW 2.1. I have a single station (7) that will start but won’t stop (under test station) until I power down the system. Stop single station, stop all stations – nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions?
Can you switch the station wire with another station, to check if this is an issue with the triac on that station, or the sprinkler solenoid? The only case I’ve seen before that the station will turn on but not turn off is when someone incorrectly uses a DC power supply instead of 24V AC.
I think it’s actually fine. It just took a long time to close the valve (upwards of 30 seconds) and that threw me off. I did some more testing and it seems like it all working fine.
Ok, the long closing time often has to do with low water pressure. For example, if you have multiple valves running at the same time, it may take longer than usual to close a valve.
