Just updated to the newest firmware, followed directions and created a backup file first. After update I tried to import said backup and it only partially worked. I get a message that says, “please check inputs and try again” and only some of my programs are imported… I used to have 14 working programs, I have tried multiple times to import my backup file- sometimes none of them import, the best I’ve got was 8 of the 14. Is there something I can do to make my backup file work??

Due to the change in time resolution and memory constraints of hardware version 2.1 only 8 programs can exist at one time. If you have the latest hardware (2.3) you can have up to 14 programs I believe.

I had 14 in there just fine before I updated… how do I go back to those happier times??

I am pretty sure the release notes:
    https://github.com/OpenSprinkler/OpenSprinkler-Firmware/releases
mentioned the reduction in the number of programs, because I know this can be of a concern to some of the OS 2.0 to 2.2 owners. You can downgrade to 2.1.6 and import your saved configurations. The newly added features for firmware 2.1.7 did not leave much room for program data, so the number of programs has been reduced.
