Hi,
I want to replace my Hunter X-Core Controller with opensprinkler.
Currently I’m using the Xcore with the “Solar Sync” Sensor from Hunter.
Can the “Solar Sync” Sensor also used by opensprinkler?

Unfortunately not — Solar Sync sends encrypted data in proprietary format that we don’t know how to decode. I’ve taken a look at it a while back and decided it’s difficult to reverse engineer the encoding scheme so unfortunately it cannot be used with OpenSprinkler.
