I have OpenSprinkler 3.0 and would like to update. I downloaded os_221_rev1.bin for this purpose. The update started. The device display now shows “OSAP: OS_622915 … 192.168.4.1.” Now I connect to OSAP: OS_622915 on my PC. OK.
I enter the following in the browser: http://192.168.4.1/update
The firmware update page opens.
I select the downloaded .bin file.
I generate my OpenSprinkler’s device password using the online MD5 hash generator.
I enter the device password.
A short message appears: “Uploading Please wait.”
Yes, thanks, I was already using that version. The problem was probably that the distance between the device and the PC was too great? The manual says to access http://192.168.4.1/update in AP mode. That’s not entirely correct if the update has already been run. Unfortunately, no meaningful message is displayed. So, only 192.168.4.1 is required. Everything works now.
