    Dear all
Today I finally decided to run the update, which in fact went fine.
But I’m not able to reset WiFi connection completely.

Actually, it seems that the reset as such worked, but after restart no SSID as example OS_xxxxxx appears.
And I don’t know how I can get it back. Which is strange, as I never experienced this in earlier updates.

    Kind regards
    Stefan

It depends on which firmware you upgraded from. If you upgraded from 2.2.1 (i.e. 2.2.1(0) ) to 2.2.1(1), it won’t trigger a factory reset, all settings, programs, including WiFi settings are preserved, there is no need to re-configure WiFi.

If you upgraded from 2.2.0 or earlier to 2.2.1(1), then it will trigger a factory reset and you need to re-configure WiFi.

The easiest way to tell is to look at the LCD screen — does it show 4 lines with a blinking dot? If so, it’s in AP mode, and the OS_xxxxxx SSID will be printed onto the LCD screen. If not, that means it didn’t trigger factory reset, and it should connect to your WiFi router already.
