Announcing AC-powered OpenSprinkler v3.4, and Unified Firmware 2.2.1(2)

We are excited to share several important updates:

1. AC-Powered OpenSprinkler v3.4 Now Shipping
After a brief pre-order period, we have officially begun shipping the new AC-powered OpenSprinkler v3.4. For full details about the new hardware, please see our announcement blog post:

2. Unified Firmware 2.2.1(2) Released
We have released OpenSprinkler Unified Firmware 2.2.1(2), a minor update from the previous 2.2.1(1). It adds support for the new hardware v3.4 and includes a few feature enhancements and bug fixes. The release notes are on github:

• If your controller is already on firmware 2.2.1(0) or later, updating to this firmware will preserve all settings and programs. No re-configuration is needed.
• If your controller has an older firmware, like 2.1.9 or 2.2.0, updating to this firmware will trigger a factory reset. So make sure to export a copy of your current configurations before proceeding, to restore the settings and programs after the firmware update.

3. v3.3 Replacement Boards Available for Repair and DIY Projects
With the release of AC-powered OpenSprinkler v3.4, we’ll soon be phasing out the AC-powered v3.3 fully assembled units. However, we have created a category of v3.3 replacement boards, available for those who need to repair existing controllers or build their own systems:
