You are correct, as port matter, there are the same (schematics compared).
here might only be matter of software. i have managed to migrate my original BeagleBone to an Ubuntu image, so probably ubuntu matter will not be an issue.
Regarding electrical spces do you think, it might be some trouble?
i have a BeableBone, so i might do some test (once my OS arrives), i just want to be sure not to fry my BB.
