Great idea, I had been thinking about diff/patch too. Yesterday I made a couple of patch files for opsi.py and home.js, so applying my local updates will be a lot easier in the future.
I’m glad to hear that you are looking at the rain sensor logic. I’ve been looking at the code in ospi.py to try to at least read the input signal and get the state of the rain sensor to show up on the home page. I’m having a hard time figuring out how the code works there.
Having the rain sensor state be available for control in each program would really be great.
