Symptom is it looks completely unpowered (no light, not responding to pings, not running programs, etc…). I have to turn power off and on again and we’re back. There is always 24VAC at the input power connector. Anyone have an idea what I can check for to fix it next time it happens?
Hi, OpenSprinkler 1.4 has been a long time back and perhaps some components have deteriorated over time. I am guessing, from the symptom you described, that the power circuitry (in particular the switching regulator circuit) has become unreliable. Perhaps replacing the switching regulator IC will help. You can submit a support ticket and we can follow up there.
