Opensprinkler constant restarting

Hi All

I have a 2.3 DC open sprinkler running firmware 2.1.7. I have it hooked up 9v 1Amp DC PSU.

I find that when I have more than 1 station queued during the switching on of the other station the unit restarts ie the brief moment when 2 may be on simultaneously. When running 1 station the power draw is 241mA.

I’ve had my unit for some time and this problem has only just recently started. I’m not sure if this has coincided with the recent changed of PSU unit. I would have thought 1A PSU be adequate.

Has anyone had this problem before or know what this issue may be?

It’s probably because the solenoids are drawing too much current. Try a 2amp power adapter, or lower the voltage (if you can find a 7.5VDC adapter, try that).
