Hi everybody,
I’m about to reactivate my OSPI board from 2015 which I haven’t used in a while. I originally used a Raspi2, but that’s gone now but I have a Raspi3 I can use. As the documentation warns, I do run into power supply issues (warnings in the logfiles, sometimes crashes).
The hint is to use an external power supply and power the Pi through the Micro-USB. My problem now is that I also have some I2C sensors on the board, which use the first few GPIO pins. With the Pi on the OSPI, the GPIO-pins block the Pi’s MicroUSB port.
Any ideas how to supply a bit more juice to the Pi? Currently trying to find an angled MicroUSB cable that will fit there…
Thanks!
