    Would like a feature where we say it stops watering on November 23 and starts watering again April 15. (I just made up those times). This would make the sprinkler more self contained.

    If this only happens infrequently, you can use the disable / enable operation feature.

    Its more about turning the sprinkler on/off for the season.
