    Flat-out, brand spanking newbie here.

What’s the most basic sprinkler head I can connect to the arduino open sprinkler?

    thanks in advance.

Do you mean sprinkler valve or sprinkler head? Sprinkler valve is a electro-mechanical part that controls water flow — like a switch on your water pipe / hose; sprinkler heads are mechanical parts connected at the end of the water pipe / hose for spraying water.

    Thanks, Ray.

I’m thinking sprinkler valve — the simplest one that I can hook up to the Open Sprinkler.

Then I can start to focus on a sprinkler head. 😀

Is there a good source for those kind of parts that work well with the Open Sprinker?

whoops, nevermind. I found the amazon link at the bottom of the product page. Sorry.

I’m thinking, btw, of hooking the Open Sprinkler up to drip tape, so I’m hoping this will do.

Yup, this valve works fine. It’s a 24V AC valve, compatible with OpenSprinkler.
