ok I will replay to this myself.

I closed my eyes blind and connected 24VAC valved to OpenSprinkler 2.3 DC controller powered from 7.5V
– Common wire from valves to Common plug on OpenSprinkler.
– and each valve control wire to OpenSprinkler 2.3 DC control port.

and I run test program to open and close Valve and………. it just worked.
Valves are opening and closing no problem. 🙂

hello,

i cant find it clear.
my setup requires running 24VAC valves
and i have OpenSprinkler 2.3 DC
how i need to supply power needed by 24V valves. where to connect 24V supply and how to control it with OpenSprinkler DC?

each valve draws 300mA
my old sprinkler controller(hunter) was providing 24V to valves and it was switching 24V ON/OFF to control each valve.

can any one draw simple diagram?
