Description
This module enables a wired Ethernet connection for your OpenSprinkler controller (v3.2+). To check your hardware version, use the following guidelines:
- At the controller’s homepage, swipe left to right to open the side menu, and click ‘About’, then note the Hardware Version displayed there
- Alternatively, you can reboot your OpenSprinkler, during reboot it will briefly show hardware version on the LCD screen.
- For OpenSprinkler v3.3 and v3.4: choose W5500 (10/100Mb).
- For OpenSprinkler v3.2, choose ENC28J60 (10Mb only).
Please note that these Ethernet modules are NOT compatible with PoE (Power-over-Ethernet).
- For OpenSprinkler DC and Latch models, you may use a PoE splitter to enable PoE functionality.
- For OpenSprinkler AC models, PoE is NOT supported. Please disable PoE on your switch to prevent issues.
The Ethernet module package includes:
- One wired Ethernet module with a 3D printed enclosure
- One ribbon cable
- One back bracket to help hold the screws in place when opening up the OpenSprinkler enclosure.
