Hey I just finished putting together a 2.1u kit. Seemed to have the software up and running played with the website for about 5 mins, all that I thought was left was to hook it up to the Sprinklers.
I came back a day or so later and noticed the unit wouldn’t turn on. Took it apart and found the fuse to be blown. Did I do something foolish like bump it to hard to break the fuse or could it be a sign of a problem somewhere else? The part that confuses me is it seemed to function just fine ran it through a zone test once or twice with no load.Since I see this asked a lot in other posts I am getting
8.7 Kohms between VIN and GND
19.9 Kohms between VCC and groundand I was getting the proper 5v and 3v when it was on 24 v
I can still start up the application on USB mode.
Is the best course of action replace the fuse and see if it blows again?
Otherwise what is the best approach to checking the 24v circuits?You can send an email to [email protected] and we will send some spare ones to you. The blown fuse may indicate a problem somewhere, perhaps a shorted solenoid.
