2 pump start relays one electrical circuit?

Hi I am currently wiring up the my pump start relays that are being connected to my opensprinkler 3.0. My question is can I have 2 pump start relays on the same electrical circuit or would that possibly cause interference between the 2 relays? I only have one slot left on my breaker box and want to avoid wiring a sub panel if necessary. The pumps would never be running at the same time.

I don’t see why not. You can have 2 light switches on the same circuit without any problems. A relay is just a switch you control electronically.
