I had my OSPI working well for a few years then my ISP switched to NAT addresses, and now I can no longer use the app outside my local network.

Does anybody have a work around for a NAT address?

    1. Request a static IP from your ISP if possible, port forward on your router.
    2. Establish a reverse ssh tunnel to an external server. You could buy a cheap VPS for a few $$ a month (the cheapest there is, you can get them below 5$ nowadays). Then you establish a reverse ssh connection from your OSpi to the external server and voila, your OSpi is now reachable through external server Ip.

Those are great ideas! The static address would be the simplest option, but I am tempted to go with the reverse tunnel.
    Thanks

I setup an account with NoIP.com, and use dynamic DNS from my router. It’s been working great for 2 1/2 years.
