It would be very helpful if weather adjustments could vary per zone – particularly precipitation. I’m using the Zimmerman method currently. I have zones for Vegetable beds, established perennials, newer perennials, and a variety of container plants. While I can set zones to ignore weather adjustments, it would be very helpful to have a bit more granularity. For instance, I’d like to have less precipitation-related reduction for my vegetables than for established perennials. Similarly, for window boxes that are mostly sheltered from rain, I don’t want to reduce irrigation at all when it rains – but I still want compensation in hot weather. Right now, there’s no way to ignore rain for that zone but keep the temp and humidity adjustment.

It would be great if zones inherited the global setting by default but had a check box to set it separately. You already have a check box to ignore weather – what I’m looking for instead is that when you check that box, you are able to set the parameters separately. Setting all 3 zimmerman sensitivity numbers to zero would be the same as checking the box now.

Alternatively, a simpler choice would be 3 checkboxes – ignore rain, ignore temp, ignore humidity. Not as good, but if the coding is easier, that would help. At least then one could ignore rain without losing the temp adjustment.
