Can I upgrade a v1.2u board with 1.8.3 firmware?

I bought a v1.2u board three years ago and just upgraded it to 1.8.3 Is this the highest possible release for my hardware?

Sure, you can upgrade 1.2u to firmware 1.8.3. You will have to use the old version of firmware updater to do so. The link is here:

Thank you for replying Ray however my question is if I can upgrade to an even higher release than 1.8.3

Unfortunately not — 1.2u uses a small microcontroller (ATmega328) which cannot fit any firmware beyond 1.8.3.
