I’ve been meaning to upgrade for quite a while and finally got around too it but having trouble. I read this website: https://openthings.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000381694-opensprinkler-firmware-update-guide and turned on the bootloader by holding b2 while inserting the usb. The device popped up on my device manager in Windows as opensprinkler 2.1. Then I opened the opensprinkler updater and it detected the device as 2.1 and I hit update device. Then it said downloading 2.1.7 and it never changed. 10 minutes later I gave up and closed the application. Then I tried the alternative updator and it said he couldn’t find the device. I tried to reboot the device and put it back into booterloader mode but it will no longer pop up in the device manager. I can power the device normally and it boots firmware 2.0.9 no problem.
So, my first question is: how do I resolve the problem with getting it back on boot loader mode so it will show up in my device manager?
I attached a picture in case that helps understand what hardware version it is since I don’t really know :). Edit: device has an Ethernet port.

I suggest that you use the alternative firmware updater for OS 2.1:

The latest firmware that can still be uploaded through USB to OS 2.1 is firmware 2.1.5. Firmware 2.1.7 cannot be uploaded through the USB port anymore, and the reason is explained here:

This applies to OS 2.1 only.Hi Ray, my problem is that ever since the first update attempt froze, neither the standard nor the alternative updater can detect the device. Thats what I need help with.
