It clearly states that”OpenSprinkler Pi is an extension board for Raspberry Pi (RPi) (RPi 0; RPi 1 Model A+/B+; RPi 2; RPi 3)” and then

    8 lines down it says

    – The enclosure WILL NOT fit RPi 1 Model A or B (i.e. oldest generation of RPi).

So what do you do after you have spent $75 to have an OpenSprinkler Pi. Does it not come with the enclosure????
Do you go by a RPi2?

RPi 1 is the oldest version of RPi that has a different form factor with the subsequent RPis. As a result, the enclosure does not fit RPi 1, but you can still use it with OSPi, just the enclosure won’t close. All current versions of RPi can fit in the enclosure. I don’t know why the surprise.

To be completely clear, the OpenSprinkler Pi _does_ come with an enclosure. As Ray said, it’s a matter of whether the enclosure that comes with the Pi will fit the RPi 1, which it will not.
