Do I need an internet connection?

Hi, I am unsure if I need an internet connection to run the timer ie, can I program the box at home, and then take it to a remote site with no internet and have it work?

No, you do not need an Internet connection but it would be used to keep the local time in sync and update based on weather parameters, if you wanted. Otherwise, it will function just fine without Internet.
