The microsd is in the slot but I still get the error 0x2D on a openspronkler hardware version 2.3 and firmware 2.1.7.
I took the sd and inserted int my pc, it asks me to format it.
how do i format it? what should i copy o burn. is there an image?
I’ve took andother microsd that works fine and formated both fat and fat32.
starting the opensprinkler with any microsd shows the message “openprinkler HW v 2.3 AC” and then all the characters turn black.
So the characters just remain black and the screen won’t display anything else? This is rather strange. I don’t think I’ve seen this problem before. If you unplug the 24VAC (orange) terminal block, and instead use a USB cable connected to a USB adapter to power OpenSprinkler, does it behave the same way?
I´ve unplugged it from the 24v power source and plugged into the usb cable and still does the same. starts and shows “openprinkler HW v 2.3 AC” and then all the characters turn black. it stays like that.
I forgot to add that the opensprinkler worked fine for more that 1 year. It came with the previous firmeware, version 2.1.9 was installed more than 4 month ago. when it was reallised.
One day stopped working displaying error 0x2D, I thought it was the sd card, took it to my pc and asked me to format it (It should have been formated).
when polug it back into the opensprinkler the error went away but now it shous “openprinkler HW v 2.3 AC” and then all black characters on the lcd.
took a new sd formated both fat and fat32, still the same black characters.
