The other day I’ve noticed that whenever I start a zone mapped to the expansion board, all of the other zones on the board get active at the same time. Depending exactly which one I turn on, the remaining ones get either 11V or 24V. Updated to the latest firmware but didn’t fix it. The main unit zones all work fine, just the expansion board has issues.
The system was idle for the last couple of months, just started watering a couple of days back.
What could be the issue here? How do I debug and fix it? Thanks!
Hardware – 2.2/AC, Firmware – 2.1.6
Double check you have the expansion cable around the right way at both ends. I think I vaguely remember someone having the same issue caused by incorrect orientation of one end.
Thanks @pb for the suggestion. The problem was a short between two zones which caused this weird behavior.
