    Hi,

when using the new “Delayed Time On/Off”-Feature, I can only set the time (minutes) to 240 max. (=4 hours).
I want to postpone the next watering after raining occurs (rain sensor at sensor2) for 2-3 days.
Is it possible to extend this value?

    Thanks,
    Stefan

Most rain sensors themselves already have a mechanism to set a delay time when rain is received. This is usually through mechanical methods (I’ve written a blog post about it in the past: https://rayshobby.net/wordpress/using-rainfreeze-sensor-with-opensprinkler/).

    Hi Ray,

I’m using a simple rain sensor is composed of a rain detection plate with extra mechanism:
    https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/MisterBotBreak/how-to-use-a-rain-sensor-bcecd9
Therefore it would be great, when the value could be set to more than 240.

    Thanks

Setting it beyond 240 will require modifying the firmware. A work-around is to find where the sensor delayed off time is applied, and scale it up (like multiplying it by 10, or whatever factor that’s sufficient to cover the amount of time you need).

    I see..
then maybe the extension of the setting can be provided in the next firmware release, if possible. is there a wishlist in place?

    thanks again
