Hi there.
Is there any way we can set a hostname or hostname.domain into the OpenSprinkler unit?

Dave.Not yet, but this can be easily added. Actually I believe firmware 2.1.7 had mDNS support, so you can access the controller using a hostname like xxxxxx.local/ where xxxxxx is the last 6 digits of the MAC address. It has subsequently been removed from 2.1.8. But we can re-enable it, and probably even provide a way for user to specify a desired host name.
