I have been playing around with IFTTT and it works great thanks for the integration. I can now receive an email every time the sprinkler runs but what I would really like is to receive an email when the sprinkler fails (ie the Opens sprinkler has lost internet connectivity or has hung which mine seems to do once a week or so) and I think I have found a way to do it. Is is called apillo and allows combination of triggers from multiple sources looks great you can find details here </a
Will update you alll when I have something working
Ok, good suggestion. I was thinking about adding an event type like that but not sure how it would work, because if OS lost Internet connection, then it won’t be able to send IFTTT requests anyways. So I thought this would require an external service that monitors OS.
