With my first installation I was not able to use the new IPhone apps, and no solution was found.
Now I had decided to make an new SD card with the actual image an test it again.
But when I put this in the Raspi I’m not able to reach them over putty, connection timeout, over Mozilla sometimes I see the start page, but sometimes I got also timeout.
What should I do?

Were you able to access http://192.168.x.x (where 192.168.x.x is your RPi’s IP address) and see the one-page instruction?May 20, 2014 at 8:13 pm #26946
No with the new SD not, also I got no response with a ping

Hmm, this is puzzling — so your RPi gets a valid IP address but you can’t ping it? Are you sure this is the correct IP address? Is it possible that the router has changes the IP address assigned to RPi for some reason?May 20, 2014 at 8:30 pm #26950
I’ve changed the SD card, and I get the same first situation. I can access over my old ways.. Could it be that the SD card are not compatible? Ive choose an class 10 with 8 GB..

Ok, I’ve the connection to the ospi noŵ, but the same issue like with my first SD card with the switches, I can’t switch a zone manual on… The slider goes short to on, and directly back to of..
And I’m not able to save a program via the app…

If you navigate directly to the OSPI without using my mobile app, does the software work?
In other words, removing the mobile app from the equation do things work normally?May 20, 2014 at 9:04 pm #26957
For example, my app requests an IP to work (or finds it if it can).
If you goto your desktop browser and navigate to http://IP:8080 does it work?May 20, 2014 at 9:12 pm #26958
So the old access over the /sprinklers works fine in Mozilla and on safari on IPad1.
But on Iphone4s I’ve the same white screen, and on the app I’m not able to switch a zone one or save a option..
Same as on my first SD card..

I’ve made a reboot again, it’s the same I’m only able to work with the access over /sprinklers, the app are connecting and show something, but I’m not able to work with it. No manual switching, no saving..
Good night 🙁
I’ve tested also the access over 8080, I got the old start page, looks that it works..

Glad we got things sorted. As we discussed, the problem turned out to be the password used in the mobile application from the App Store. The password needs to be the device password which defaults to opendoor.
I am posting this for other’s who might have similar issues, in case you are wondering.
Thanks!May 23, 2014 at 9:12 pm #26962
Manny thanks for this great support, It’s running as it should, perfect.
I don’t had expected that are an “not really commercial” device, with an open source software comes with tis support for a newbie…
Now I can play a little bit more[FACE WITH STUCK-OUT TONGUE AND WINKING EYE]
