I loaded ospi2new.img on a 4GB MicroSD card into my RasPi 2. Got to the “opening page” at 10.0.0.119. Link to github works but I don’t know why I need that. Proceeding to the next section of the opening page I entered http://10.0.0.119:8080. Web page was completely blank. I expected to see the sprinkler program but got nothing. What didn’t I do right?

Went on to the demo/selftest which seemed to work. Just started cycling through stations starting with 0. I don’t have a valve hooked up yet.

What do I do to see the firmware in action?

    UPDATE:
Thought the RasPi’s browser would work on My_IP:8080 but not so: Safari, Chrome on iPhone, iPad, Android work.
I suggest that this be mentioned on the “opening page”: “The web interface is on port 8080 of your Raspberry Pi’s IP address. To access the web interface, open a browser, and type in http://ospi_ip:8080 (where ospi_ip is your Raspberry Pi’s IP address). BUT DON’T USE THE RASPI”s BROWSER.

Embarrassing: The reason I bought OSPI was to control things from my iPhone while walking around the yard.
