Does anyone have a solution in which a single system can activate a remote valve through some sort of wireless mechanism?

    Thanks

The current firmware 2.1.6 supports remote stations. Specifically, this allows one controller (master controller) to directly talk to a remote controller and switch any station on the remote controller.

Thanks for the reply Ray. That is great however I was hoping for a more economical solution where I can buy just a single OpenSprinkler controller and have it communicate with some sort of relay or remote receiver that will trigger a valve. Any recommendations for that?

    Thanks

Well that depends on what sort of remote relay or remote receiver you have in mind. For example, what type of wireless communication do you need? WiFi, Radio Frequency, or something else? What’s the distance between the main controller and remote valve?
