I have two OS controllers hardware ver3.0 WiFi (no Ethernet RH45)

Neither of them stay connected to my WiFi network. I put them in AP mode then set them to my SSID and password and they work for a while (hours?) after that time the app on my phone can’t connect to them again and pinging their up address times out. When first getting connected to my WiFi the units show a signal strength of “ok”. They use dhcp to get an address but my router always assigned the same up based on the MAC address. How do I solve this problem?

Well we do have a more recent firmware: 2.1.9(3). You can follow the instructions to update to it:

We don’t have resources to test the controller exhaustively with all wifi routers. There might be wifi routers that don’t work very well with the wifi chip. I really don’t have enough knowledge to tell.

I updated one of the controllers. I’ll see if it makes a difference. My WiFi access is via Ubiquiti AC Pro access points, everything else is wired. I’ll see if I can trace the ship renewals and see what’s happening there.
