OpenGarage.io is Now Live

The forums for OpenGarage have moved to OpenGarage’s new home at https://opengarage.io.

Please note the user database is shared between OpenSprinkler.com and OpenGarage.io. I would also like to announce a parent site has been created for all products at https://openthings.io. The user database is also shared for this site. Over the coming weeks we will improve the integration between the sites and remove the redundancy currently present.

I’m loving the “OpenWorld” but admit that I was getting a little confused with the heirarchy of websites and forums.

I guess you will be using “OpenWorld.io” as a portal for all the other projects so you can either find “all things open” at this site and then get re-directed, or just go direct – right?

Thrilled the databases will be shared – thereby, presumably, if I wish to log into one or other of the sites, I can use the same User details – right?

We are using “OpenThings” not “OpenWorld” but yes that’s the plan. https://openthings.io will be the parent site which has direct links and additonal marketing for all “Open-” products.

The usernames and passwords will be shared as well as user meta data allowing easy login across all sites using one account, correct. This is also going to allow us to integrate cloud sync with all the devices in the future.

Yes I picked up on the “OpenThings” but was alluding to the open “world” that you are creating – my post was a bit obscure – sorry!

Looking forward to you and Ray “opening” my world!
