[solved] OpenSprinkler 2.3 DC gets no IP

[EDIT] Sorry, I just discovered that I had my router forced to assign a fixed IP to OpenSprinkler and this IP was actually used by another network device.

I bought OpenSprinkler DC in Oktober 2016 and just played with it with no valves actually connected.
Now I wanted to install it for real and am facing the problem that it gets no IP.
I connect it to the switch and the ethernet socket shows a constand green and blinking yellow led but the ip is always shown as 0.0.0.0

Any idea how to solve this or is my unit broken? It worked with no connection problems at all last autum so I have no clue what happened.

There is a small symbol which looks like a star above the three bars of the network status symbol. I couldn’t find any info about this in the OpenSprinkler manual.
