Battery / solar power that outputs 12VDC should work fine with OpenSprinkler-DC. I don’t know any particular battery brand / model number.

    Hi Tachera

I have the same question – did you have any luck?

Since I’ve seen a number of similar questions, let me just re-iterate: OS DC and Latch (and OS Bee as well) can be powered by battery, but due to the WiFi power consumption, the battery needs to be charged (most commonly solar). In other words, a non-rechargeable battery would NOT be suitable as the battery power will drain in a couple of days of time. OS DC and Latch can be powered by any source that outputs a DC voltage in the range of 7.5VDC to 12VDC; OSBee is powered by a USB source (5V).
