I recently got OpenSprinkler up and running on a pi zero w2 after using a different controller for quite a while. Running trixie, newest firmware 2.2.1(4). I have my own 4-channel relay board that I’m using to control valves.
The system is set to turn on at 0600 each day and each zone waters sequentially, with weather adjustments. This works fine when I run a “run-once” program, and for the first few days, it ran as scheduled (without logs… but I fixed that per the instructions posted here). It may have started around the time I fixed the logging issue that I can no longer access OpenSprinkler after waking up the next morning. I have to SSH into the pi to manually reboot it so that OpenSprinkler starts back up and I can manually start the watering.
As a note, the Pi does not have access to internet first thing in the AM when watering is supposed to start (our wifi is usually off overnight). However, this made no difference for the first week or so of watering.
I’ve been doing some looking around, but I’m not sure what logs are most helpful to capture to try to troubleshoot this issue further.
