Hi, Can anyone tell me if you can join OSBee to a network which requires EAP as its security protocol ?

Further to my post above. Looking at the datasheet for the ESP8266 chip, under Wi-Fi Protocols section it says :

“• Open Interface for various upper layer authentication schemes over EAP such as TLS, PEAP, LEAP, SIM, AKA, or customer specific.”

So can the OSBee firmware take care of that interface, or do I need to somehow modify my firmware myself ?

It may help that my son is a network security student who implemented EAP in the first place, but he is not a programmer, and I am a newbie.

Does this have anything to do with WPA Enterprise? ESP8266 does seem to support WPA Enterprise, though the firmware will have to be modified to use enterprise specific API calls.
