Pulled out an old OSBo 1.1 board and looking to load a current OSprinkler firmware to a Beaglebone.

From what I remember, you just follow the same load instructions for Rasberry Pi, and then just “comment out” and “remove comments” for the appropriate GPIO pins (different on Beaglebone versus Rasberry).

Is this still the case? Does “unified” software still mean including OSBo?

Can I just follow the load procedure from the latest OS Pi manual?

    Thks for any info.

p.s. just ordered a 3.3 ESP based boards and lookng forward to playing with that too

The current firmware does NOT support BeagleBone. It can probably compile but the biggest missing piece is the GPIO functions — the GPIO pins are not defined, and the GPIO functions (pinMode, digitalRead, digitalWrite) are not defined for BeagleBone either. I believe we have removed all mentions of OSBo from the source code.

    Thanks for the response!

Is there an old Beagle compatible archived version accessible? I think I have I have a Beagle loaded with OSBO somewhere. Can I copy the code from one Beagle to another?

    Tks
