Hi,
Sorry if this has been discussed before. I have a Raspberry Pi setup with OSPi v1.43+ and it has been working more-or-less ok for years now. But I have a nagging issue in that the system can never remember that it needs to run on “EVEN” only days. Once on that schedule, the next month it is hit-or-miss whether the system will go off or not. In those cases I resort to manually running the system. But now it can’t run in auto mode at all so I am confused by it all. I am a very technical person but decided I didn’t want to delve into the nitty-gritty of this system to see how well it responded to the “average” person. Not too good but workable I guess. Anyway, should I re-install a newer version of the OS? Should I re-install the Opensprinkler software? Rebooting doesn’t help. Should I bite the bullet and dig into the OS, software, IOS software that I use and figure it out? Much appreciate it for those who read this far to give some pointers; thank you 🙂
Best,
Chris
To start, please report your firmware version. At the homepage, swipe left to right to open the side menu, click ‘About’. There it shows the firmware version.
Sure, here is the screen dump. 2.4.90, 2.1.9 (3), OSPi
So 2.1.9(3) is very outdated. I highly recommend you to update your firmware first, which may fix the issue right away. Instructions on how to upgrade OSPi firmware:

Great; thank you. 🙂
