Opensprinkler 2.0 boots just fine, and is wired correctly but will not trigger solenoids with 24VAC.

    Equipment:
    Opensprinkler Pi v2.0
    Firmware: 2.2.1
    Solenoids: Rain Bird 100-DVF

    Things I have checked:
My transformer is AC, not DC, and I am getting 24VAC across the orange terminals.
My solenoids are the Rain Bird 100-DVF, and require 24VAC to open.
The voltage between zone 1 and common with no solenoid connected is 24VAC. I understand this is normal.
When manually starting a zone, I see no voltage change between the active zone and common when I have a solenoid in circuit; it remains at 0VAC.
The LCD does not work, but I assume that it will once updating to firmware version 2.2.1(2).
The resistance across solenoids is <65ohms.
    The fuse is still good.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    1) just to make sure, please attach a picture of the transformer label so we can verify it outputs AC and not DC.
    2) check the fuse on OSPi and see if it’s intact. The fuse is on the left side of the circuit board .
    3) other than the above, it would be difficult to tell what’s causing the issue. Sometimes it has to do with GPIO operations. But probably the best is for you to ship the OSPi back to us so we can diagnose the issue. Please submit a support ticket at:
