Pi zero W SD card limited clearance on OpenSprinkler Pi 2

When I installed the Pi on the OpenSprinkler PI board I noticed a very close fit between the SD card on the Pi and a component on the OpenSprinkler Pi board. Photo attached. In my case it did fit and everything worked fine, but it wouldn’t take much of a shift on that component to cause a contact.

It’s ok if the two touch each other: the plastic part of both the SD card and the capacitor are non-conductive, so it’s not a problem if they contact.
