Port Forwarding Configuration with Mesh Network

I’m new to OpenSprinkler and networking in general. I just bought a house with OS and a mesh network already installed, so I’m figuring things out as I go.

My OpenSprinkler is hardwired to my Linksys Mesh beacon. My mesh beacon is hardwired to my router. I would appreciate any assistance walking me through configuring things so that I can access my OpenSprinkler from outside my home network.

I took a crack at setting up port forwarding once, but got very turned around. I wasn’t sure how to configure each device: my router and my mesh network.

Any advice?
