My power supply died and I bought a replacement from Lowes. Brand is Orbit 24VAC at 750 MA. However the connector does not fit to the orange male (2 pin) adaptor on the OSBO?
What are my options?
Ideally looking for a connector that I can use by cutting out the existing connector and screwing in the wire to the female adaptor?
Can’t seem to figure out the name of the connector.
Help on this matter is much appreciated.
If you’ve still got it, you could use the connector off of the old power supply. Cut the connector off of both the new power supply and the old power supply. Solder the old connector on to the new power supply.
Thanks Mike for your time.
Unfortunately, I do not have the old power supply. I had to move from one home to another and at that time without a lot of thinking, threw the old power supply.
Any idea as to what I can do now? Just need the connector that fits to the orange male adaptor – 2 pins.
Assuming that the OSBo and the OSPi use the same connector, the parts list I found here indicates it is a “2EDGE 5.08 x 2p” connector. If you search for that part, does it look correct?
